Create a working wooden catapult, just like the ones that were used during medieval times! Catapults have a long and interesting history. They have been around in many forms, evolving since about 400 BC. 

This wooden model can shoot a plasticine ball over 4.5m! Adjustable pads on the crossbar allow you to change the trajectory angle. The rope, strung through the middle gives great power to the swing arm!
